I was referred to this joint by a foodie friend of mine, and he was correct again. All I've had has been the chicken (so far), and it is the second best chicken I've ever had, behind only my late Mother. The breading is completely dry and wonderfully crunchy and the meat isn't excessively oily like most other places. The facility is very clean, and the employees are very friendly. I cannot wait to try the other menu items but I'll need to get past the chicken first! If you like chicken this is a must stop.

Love this place, this is the second location of three. One in midtown this one and one north of the river. If you love chicken at all you must try this place great great chicken I highly recommend the lemon pepper chicken phenomenal.

Truly Saddening! Here iam thinking and hearing about J’s was the lick. So for lunch I buy me and my son a fish sandwich combo and my wife the daily wing combo 27.00 bucks so I get home and see these fish sandwiches and was shocked I could’ve went to Captain D’s and got the giant fish sandwich for less than what I paid for! Not messing with J’s anymore plus the tax!!!😳

Their fish is pretty good but their wings are baby....and I mean baby peices. It's rare that they will give you normal size chicken wings. And the catfish don't seem like catfish.

The chicken wings are … good and when im telling you they are good its because they are sooooo good, i havent tried the fish but why would I if the chicken wings and tenders are so deliciosoo ayyyy!!! 9.9 out of 10 just because there is not such a thing as perfection in this world, just my girlfriend, the service is always great and they cook pretty fast.

Didn't know they was going to put so much powder stuff on my food to where I couldn't even eat half of my food. They put so much of it on my mushrooms I feed them to my dogs because they were hard for me to eat. So in general my fish was good, chicken had to much of they're powder stuff as well as my mushrooms so I wasted 18 dollars which the first time I ate here I enjoyed. My coleslaw was ok the fries was the next best thing

Don't get me wrong the chicken is good when fresh but they sometimes refry witch just make it more grease. And the wings use to be average size but now a whole wing is the size of a drumette SMH if you raise the price at least give a decent size wing

Just received my food and my Mac and cheese was cold like it just came out the fridge. And the fish was not at all crispy, very soft. Won’t be coming to this location again.

Had the fried gizzards. Took almost 30 mins to prepare. Seating is sparse and suitable for about 10 people inside. It was understaffed, and the food was mediocre at best. Probably won't return.
